Pre-Healthcare Career Office Feasibility Study
Abstract
The University of Pittsburgh has become a top choice for undergraduate students interested in pursuing medical careers. The combination of outstanding academic programs at Pitt and nationally recognized healthcare and hospitals in Pittsburgh results in a large number of our incoming students identifying interests in healthcare related careers. However, the academic and career support provided to pre-healthcare students at Pitt remain separated in different offices and lack coordinated efforts to assist these students. This proposal seeks to conduct a feasibility study to determine the best path to form a centralized office for all of our pre-healthcare students at Pitt.
